Moonfall Garden

A cozy mobile web game prototype built as a personal creative project, focused on simple gameplay, whimsical atmosphere, and iPhone-first design.

Overview

Moonfall Garden is a small falling-item catcher game concept with a magical botanical theme. The goal is to create a simple, polished, cozy web game rather than a complicated game engine.

Game concept

Items fall from the top of the screen, and the player taps the correct items to catch them. Each round has a target number of items to collect before time runs out. The player loses the round if time expires or if too many hazard items are caught.

Design goals
  • Build for mobile first, especially iPhone screens.
  • Keep the gameplay simple and approachable.
  • Use a whimsical enchanted forest visual style.
  • Make the prototype feel complete before adding complexity.
  • Use the project as a creative learning exercise.
Tools

Mobile web design, HTML/CSS/JavaScript concepts, Base44 prototyping, visual asset direction.
